Dear Make-A-Wish, Hawaii
Needles to say, our son is so thrilled with his "wheels" and sound system for "his" car. We have never seen him act so quickly to get something accomplished. . . checking through ads, making calls, investigating good deals, etc. The car, with its special features, has truly become a prized possession and a positive force in this very difficult time for him. In the past months, we've heard him say to himself that "life sucks." And although inner strength is what provides people with the real courage to carry on a fight, sometimes it is the material things that help give that necesary and timely uplift. You have provided that uplift , giving him something to enjoy, care for and treasure.
Our son has gained greater understandings during the past months about the values of friendship , about fortitude and hope, and now, through his experience with your organization, charity and compassion as basic human virtues.
Thank you for giving our son such a wonderful "booster shot".
