Kevin Kasparovitch and the staff at Kenui Aloha Lei Greeters have been welcoming visiting Make-A-Wish Children and their families to Hawaii for over 16 years. They are the first contact in Hawaii that thousands of visiting wish families have, and it is often the most memorable. In addition to welcoming each family to Honolulu with fresh lei, they assist the family with collecting their luggage and finding their way to their rental car company’s shuttle. Kenui’s Lei Greeters are the “eyes and ears” of our Visitors Program as they keep track of each family’s arrival and advise us of any inconsistency, problem, or concern that a family has once they arrive.In addition to the lei greeting that they do for our visiting Make-A-Wish families, there have been times when a greeter has done much more than expected!
