On March 16, we lost our newborn son shortly after he was born. His diagnosis was Non-Immune Hydrops Fetalis. What caused this condition is still being investigated. We don't know what it would be like to have to watch our child fighting a life-threatening illness, but, if not for the grace of God, we may have had to if he had survived.The sorrow in our hearts over our son's loss is so great. We knew we had to do something in his memory for the other children he may have grown up to be like and the families who love them. Enclosed are donations we received in our son's memory. We take comfort in knowing how these donations will help your wish families and their special children.Even though he was with us for such a short time, we have seen how he has touched other's lives as well as our own. We have seen so much love and caring pour out from those around us and we're so glad we can share some of that aloha with you. It is really a blessing.Thank you for your prayers.
